The Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) of Bannu killed a key terrorist commander of the banned Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) in an intelligence-based operation (IBO) in Lakki Marwat. The operation took place on Tajuri Road near Malang Adda, where the armed terrorists opened fire on the police. The CTD retaliated and gunned down the TTP commander, Waliullah.
