Over the past day, we've mapped 40 events with the following breakdown by event category.

Opposition groups are banding together in Tajikistan in hopes of developing a government in exile to fight the Taliban.  This comes as attacks continue in Jalalabad and Kunar while the Taliban seeks to establish security and consolidate power in the country.  It is not clear what the timeline or structure for establishment would be for the exiled government.

After suspending the investigation into the explosion at the Port of Beirut earlier this week, protesters took to the streets in anger with the decision.  With the ongoing economic crisis in the country, coupled with this decision, protests are likely to increase in the coming days.

After the suspension of the Beirut Port explosion investigation, about 300 protesters gathered in front of the Palace of Justice in Beirut to condemn the suspension.

A large operation took place in Khartoum and an ISIS cell was rolled up.  While eleven terrorists were arrested, four are still at large and it is not clear what the group was planning.

A raid on an ISIS hideout in Khartoum led to a clash with the militants and five security officers were killed and another was wounded. Eleven fighters of various nationalities were arrested and four were able to escape.

The Saudi-led coalition continues to launch strikes against Houthis in Marib.  With the Houthis making recent gains in the area, airstrikes will continue and casualty figures will grow.

Saudi-led coalition ground and air forces killed at least 68 Houthis and 32 loyalists during operations in Ma’rib in the last 24 hours.
