Ethnic Murle gunmen killed at least 24 people during raids on the villages of Walgak and Ajara in Jonglei State on Monday. 10 civilians and three police were killed, and five civilians were wounded in Walgak. The attackers in Ajara killed 11 people and injured nine others. The assailants also abducted 14 children. This event took place on 04/01/2024 at the following location: Walgak, South Sudan.
