Terrorists take over Kainji National Park
Terrorists reportedly have taken over the Kainji National Park in the Borgu Local Government Area of Niger State. The terrorists are using the park to attack travelers along the busy Wawa-Luma highway which connects to the Benin Republic. The National Park staff has stopped reporting to work after they came under attack on several occasions, leaving some of them injured. This event took place on 05/21/2023.
