Boko Haram attacks Borno town, destroys electrical towers
Suspected Boko Haram terrorists attacked the village of Garin Kuturu in Borno State on Thursday and used explosives to blow up several electricity power transmission towers in the area. Civil defense operatives dispatched to secure the town hit an IED killing and wounding an unspecified number of the operatives. This event took place on 12/28/2023.
