On Tuesday, one person was arrested, and two police officers were injured during a violent farmers' protest in Brussels' European Quarter. The protest involved about 250 tractors and was against EU red tape, global trade deals, and new green requirements under the Common Agricultural Policy.
The protesters threw firebombs, set fires, and blocked access roads. Tensions escalated throughout the day, with protesters setting fire to a metro station. Police used tear gas and water cannons to disperse the crowd. The protest demanded fair prices for agricultural products, an end to free-trade agreements, and a reform of the Common Agricultural Policy. The protest was the third in Brussels this year, one of many that continues to occur across Europe.

Chadian soldiers killed by a landmine in the Lake Chad region
Seven Chadian soldiers were killed and several others injured when their vehicle hit a landmine in the lawless Lake Chad region. President Mahamat Idriss Deby Itno confirmed the incident and stated that the soldiers were patrolling at the time of the blast. Terrorists arrested in Srinagar
The Jammu and Kashmir police, along with security forces, arrested four terrorist associates linked to Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM). The individuals were apprehended while moving in a vehicle.
