Police have identified the suspect in the ramming and stabbing attack near Kochav Ya’ir as a 26-year-old resident of Tira. The suspect first hit four officers at a checkpoint before attempting to stab security guards at a nearby crossing. The attacker was shot and pronounced dead at the scene. The police have determined that the suspect acted alone and are investigating the incident as a terror attack. This event took place on 04/03/2024 at the following location: Kochav Yair, Israel.
