Australian professor, two other hostages released in Papua New Guinea

An Australian professor and two Papua New Guinea researchers were released by their kidnappers in the Mount Bosave region on Sunday. The individuals were abducted by 20 armed men in a remote part of the island on 19 February. The hostages were released after a ransom payment. This event took place on 02/26/2023 at the following location: Mount Bosavi, Papua New Guinea.
