The Taiwanese Ministry of National Defense reported detecting 36 Chinese military aircraft and seven naval vessels near Taiwan during a 24-hour period. Of these aircraft, 33 crossed the Taiwan Strait median line and entered Taiwan's air defense identification zone (ADIZ) in various sectors: 4 fighters in the north, 15 fighters crossing the median line, 13 fighters in the southwest, and one helicopter in the east. In response, Taiwan deployed combat aircraft, naval vessels, and missile defense systems to monitor the Chinese military activity.
