Suspected Hamas rockets targeted the southern city of Ashkelon early Saturday morning. One was shot down by the Iron Dome missile defense system while the other struck an open area. There were no reports of damage or injuries. Two more rockets were fired at the town of Moshav Ahuzam near Kiryat Gat. Both fell in open areas. Israel responded with airstrikes on Hamas targets in the Gaza Strip. This event took place on 07/16/2022 at the following location: Ashkelon and Kiryat Gat, Israel.
