On Friday, the Joint Forces group allied with the Sudanese army declared that they had retaken the strategic city of Al-Dabiabat in South Kordofan state following clashes with the paramilitary Rapid Support Forces (RSF). Al-Dabiabat is a strategic link between the states of South Kordofan, North Kordofan, and East Darfur.
