Protesters met with teargas in Melbourne

The third day of protests against coronavirus restrictions and vaccine mandates was met with teargas at the Shrine of Remembrance in Melbourne on Wednesday.  After a march and several hours of a standoff, police deployed teargas and rubber bullets to disperse the demonstrators after flares, golf balls and batteries were thrown at them.  At least two police officers were injured and around 200 people were arrested during the protest. This event took place on 09/22/2021 at the following location: Shrine of Remembrance, Melbourne, Australia.
