Pirates open fire on oil tanker in the Gulf of Guinea

Pirates riding onboard a skiff approached within 200 meters of a crude oil tanker in the Gulf of Guinea and opened fire on it on Sunday. The attackers then fled the area without further incidents.  The attack took place 89 nautical miles off the Kome-Kribi Marine Terminal in Cameroon. This event took place on 12/12/2022 at the following location: Gulf of Guinea, Cameroon.
