The New People's Army (NPA) has claimed responsibility for the death of two persons in a shooting incident in Barrangay San Isidro, Toboso, Negros Occidental on Sunday. The victims, Elias Palay and Roselyn Jean Pelle Command (also known as Putot Alsado), were allegedly shot by four unidentified armed men. The NPA claims Palay was a military spy and involved in the plunder of a cooperative's financial resources, while Alsado was a "drug pusher."
