North Korea launched two medium-range ballistic missiles (MRBMs) toward the sea off its east coast Sunday morning. The launches, fired about 50 minutes apart, took place from North Korea’s Tongchang-ri area. The missiles flew to an altitude of 550km (342 miles) and covered a range of 250km (155 miles). The missiles appeared to have landed outside of Japan's exclusive economic zone (EEZ). This event took place on 12/18/2022 at the following location: Tongchang-ri, North Korea.
