Nigerian Army troops have reportedly destroyed several terrorist camps in Borno, rescuing nine hostages, including six women and three children. The operation, conducted by the 21 special armoured brigade and hybrid forces, targeted camps in Geizua, Bama LGA, and resulted in the destruction of all terrorist structures and the recovery of 16 bicycles and two Boko Haram flags.
