Israeli forces conducted large-scale raids in the northern West Bank for the second day on Sunday. During the operations, Israeli troops pursued a cell of six Palestinians in the area after they threw a bag out of a passenger vehicle. A submachine gun and ammunition were discovered inside the bag. The cell was able to escape. Furthermore, at least 24 Palestinians were arrested in Jenin, Ya’bad, the Balata refugee camp in Nablus, as well as the towns of Faqqua, Tulkarem. Clashes broke out with armed Palestinians who threw stones, rocks, Molotov cocktails, and explosive devices at security forces, who responded with live fire.
