IED blast kills one person, wounds four others in Quetta

One person was killed while four others were injured in an improvised explosive device (IED) blast in Pakistan’s southwestern Balochistan province on Sunday night. Police said the explosion occurred at Brewery Road near the western bypass in Quetta. According to police, unidentified individuals had attached a magnetic IED to a private vehicle, which later exploded. The blast killed one person in the vehicle and wounded four others, including a car passenger and three passersby. No group claimed responsibility for the attack.
