Two arrested for terror threats in Sri Lanka
Two people have been arrested in Sri Lanka in connection with terror threats against Israelis in the Arugam Bay area and other beaches in the south and west of the island. The Terrorism Investigation Division made the arrests based on information provided by the intelligence service in neighboring India. Taiwan indicts female spy leader and nine military officers for spying for China
A female criminal gang member, Lee Huei-hsin, and nine active and retired military officers were charged with spying for China. She allegedly used her connections in the criminal underworld and religious community to identify military officers with financial troubles who could be persuaded to collect information for money. The recruits for Lee's spy ring were required to provide copies of their identification and take photos of themselves in uniform, holding a Chinese flag, pledging to surrender in the event of war.
