81 CODECO rebels killed in three regions of Congo
The Congolese army killed at least 81 Cooperative for Development of the Congo (CODECO) rebels during operations in the territory of Djugu, Ituri province. 62 other rebels surrendered during the operations. In addition, 29 Allied Democratic Forces (ADF) militants surrendered to government forces. Several villages, including Mwanga, Lipri, Ngongo, and Lipri were liberated from rebel control. This event took place on 10/19/2021.
