Terrorist attacks on security forces in multiple locations in Sistan and Baluchistan Province
On Sunday, Iranian media reported multiple attacks on security forces in Sistan and Baluchistan Province, resulting in several deaths and injuries. In Rask County, armed assailants targeted two military vehicles near Paroud junction in the Peshamag area, killing one soldier and injuring two others. The militant group Jaish al-Adl claimed responsibility for this attack. Commander of Hamas in Lebanon killed in an airstrike
The IDF and Shin Bet have confirmed that the commander of Hamas in Lebanon, Fateh Sherif, was killed in an airstrike. Sherif was responsible for coordinating Hamas's activities with Hezbollah and was involved in recruiting operatives and procuring weapons. He was also employed by UNRWA but was being investigated for his political activities. Sherif was killed in a strike on the al-Bass refugee camp in Tyre, Lebanon. This event took place on 09/30/2024.

Car bomb blast injures two residents in Tak Bai
On Sunday night, around 9:50 pm, a car bomb detonated at a junction in Narathiwat's Tak Bai district, seriously injuring two residents and damaging nearby homes. The blast occurred near the Tak Bai district chief's residence and the Fifth Territorial Defence Volunteer Corps headquarters. The attack was believed to be connected to the violent Tak Bai incident on October 25, 2004. In that incident, around 1,500 unarmed Malay-Muslim protesters had gathered peacefully outside the Tak Bai Police Station to demand the release of six men detained for suspected insurgency involvement. However, the protest turned violent, leading to the deaths of 85 people. This event took place on 09/30/2024.

Vietnamese fishing boat crew injured in attack near the Paracel Islands
According to Vietnamese state media, a Vietnamese fishing boat was attacked in the South China Sea near the Paracel Islands, which both China and Vietnam claim. As a result, ten crew members were injured. The boat radioed Sunday to report the attack, stating that three fishermen suffered broken limbs and seven others received other injuries.
