CODECO militia kills 35 people at a gold mine in Ituri State
Cooperative for the Development of the Congo (CODECO) militia rebels attacked a gold mine in the Mongvwalu area, Djugu, Ituri State, on Sunday. At least 35 people were killed, and many others were reported missing during the attack. This event took place on 05/08/2022.
