Militants attack oil vessel, kill sailor
Suspected Biafra Nations League (BNL) militants reportedly attacked a foreign speed boat carrying oil equipment near Archibong, Bakassi Peninsula, Sunday morning. One sailor was killed in the attack. Security personnel who accompanied the vessel reportedly abandoned the boat and fled when the attack took place. The attackers were unable to seize the boat. This event took place on 06/19/2022.
