Counter-terrorism police arrested six Harkat-ul-Jihad al-Islami (HuJI) militants during operations in several locations in Dhaka on Friday. One of those arrested received arms operation training from remote areas in Afghanistan's Kandahar province and met Usama Bin Laden and Mullah Omar. This event took place on 01/27/2023.

12 Jamaat-e-Islami militants arrested in Feni
Police arrested 12 Jamaat-e-Islami militants, including some leaders in the town of Feni on Saturday. They were holding a secret meeting at the time of their arrests and were planning sabotage attacks in the area. Several other militants fled the area after spotting the police.
