Nine people killed during an attack on a mosque in Burkina Faso
Gunmen attacked a mosque in the village of Goulgountou in Burkina's Sahel region Wednesday evening killing nine people. The imam of the mosque and nine worshippers were shot and killed. The attackers made sermons to try to convince worshippers of abandoning their form of faith before the people were killed. This event took place on 01/11/2023.

Islamic terrorist IED blasts kill 14 Malian soldiers in the central region
Islamic terrorists detonated multiple IEDs between the villages of Dia and Diafarabe and the towns of Koumara and Macina in central Mali early this week. 14 Malian soldiers were killed and many others were wounded in the attacks. Malian forces killed at least 30 terrorists during the clashes. This event took place on 01/10/2023.
