Cult clash injures several members in Lagos
Eiye and Aiye cult members clashed with one another in the Shibiri area of Lagos on Wednesday. Several of the cult members were injured in the fighting. 11 suspected cult members were arrested after the clash. The clash took place after one member of a cult was killed earlier. Suspected herdsmen ambush police, kill DPO in Benue State
Suspected herdsmen ambushed a police patrol along the Naka-Makurdi Road in the Gwer West Local Government Area of Benue State on Tuesday. The Divisional Police Officer (DPO) in charge of Naka was killed in the attack. This event took place on 01/31/2023.

Assailants attack INEC office and police station in Idemili South LGA
Unknown assailants attacked the office of the Independents National Electoral Commission (INEC) and a police station in Ojoto, Idemili South Local Government Area (LGA) on Wednesday. The assailants were armed with IEDs, petrol bombs, and firearms. Security forces were able to repel the attacks, however, a teenager was killed, and another was wounded in the gunfire. This event took place on 02/01/2023.
