Five protesters shot and killed in Khartoum

Security forces shot and killed at least five protesters during clashes in Khartoum on Thursday. Thousands of people protested in the city as well as the twin cities of Omdurman and Bahri. The mass protests were called to mark the third anniversary of huge demonstrations that led to the overthrow of autocratic ruler Omar al-Bashir and last October's military coup. Internet services were shut down during the protest. This event took place on 06/30/2022 at the following location: Khartoum, Sudan.
