A cyberattack in Iran on Tuesday targeted over 4,300 gas stations across the country and impacted the ability to fill up vehicles.  Officials say that operations are returning to normal, although only 220 are back online, and it isn't clear if the incident is tied to a foreign government or a private group.

Suspected cyberattack hits Iranian gas stations
A suspected cyberattack hit gas stations across Iran on Tuesday. There are reports that some systems had a message addressing Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei demanding to know “where is the gas”. It is unclear who conducted the attack.

The ASEAN summit kicked off online and the presidents from the US, Russia and China are expected to attend.  Myanmar decided to boycott the meeting after the junta wasn't invited to the summit.

The ASEAN summit kicked off virtually on Tuesday, but Myanmar refused to attend after the military junta was excluded from the invite list. The summit will last for three days.

The local community in Guriel reportedly negotiated a ceasefire and ASWJ has agreed to leave the area after dozens of people were killed over several days.    

120 dead from 3-days of fighting in Somalia
After three days of fighting between the Somali National Army (SNA) and the Ahlu Sunna Wal Jamaa (ASWJ) forces in Gulmudug State casualty figures have reportedly reached 120 deaths and 600 injuries according to an ASWJ spokesman. Gas subsidies have proven to be a historically difficult subject in Ecuador and the protesters are saying demonstrations will continue until their demands are met.

Indigenous protests across Ecuador
Indigenous protesters blocked roads in five provinces across Ecuador over fuel price increases. Protesters used burning tires and rocks to disturb the traffic as they demand fuel prices for diesel be capped at $1.50 per gallon and petrol at $2 per gallon.

TPLF facilities continue to be targeted and there appears to be no slowdown in strikes this week.  

Ethiopian airstrikes target TPLF training facility near Mekele
Ethiopian airstrikes targeted a Tigray People’s Liberation Front (TPLF) training facility in Quiha near the capital of Mekele on Tuesday. There were no immediate reports of casualties from the strikes. Last week Ethiopia conducted eight airstrikes in the region against TPLF rebels in the area.
