A bomb blast seriously injured two defense volunteers in Mai Kaen, Pattani, on Tuesday. The volunteers were patrolling the Ban Krachut School at the time of the blast. The bomb, weighing four kgs, was attached to a gas canister and placed on the side of a road before it was detonated remotely. No group has claimed responsibility for the attack.
