On Monday, Al-Shabaab terrorists blew up the strategic Bariri River bridge in the Lower Shabelle, after Somali troops and AU Support and Stabilization Mission soldiers in Somalia (AUSSOM) forces attempted to retake three critical bridges, including the Anole and Sabid bridges, to sustain supplies within the country, a year after the terrorist group took them over.
