At least 10,000 garment worker left their shifts and protested for fair wages outside their factory in Gazipur on Monday. Another 7,000 protested in the towns of Ashulia and Hemayetpur. The Protesters vandalized factories and tried to force other workers to join them in the protests. At least 40 factories were damaged in the protests.
